We’re as excited as mice on a Gorgonzola binge to welcome two new additions to the growing Burek Agency stable, both at the cutting edge of where the sound of “die Zeit” is right now.

Cape Town-raised, Glasgow-based Esa Williams, aka Mervin Granger, one half of the Auntie Flo Live project and Sensu is now taking solo bookings via our agency. Many of you will remember Esa for the integral contribution he made to the 2012 follow-up to Auntie Flo’s global beat spanning, sound of the black Atlantic crossing, 2011 stormer “Oh My Days”, “I Want To Blow Your Mind”. Esa has been resident in Scotland since 2004 and based in the cultural capital Glasgow since 2007, where he is now firmly implanted as part of that city’s potent and influential electronic scene. As well as being integral to Brian d’Souza’s Auntie Flo project he also runs his own Rememory imprint and is a regular in the booth DJing and providing percussion at the legendary Sub Club’s Subculture night.

SLG, one of the latest signings to the Burek Agency, has provided a track for the immanent Friends Will Carry You Home Too compilation. The 2nd installment of the various artists compilation from Catz N Dogz's Pets Recordings features a wide selection from many established names, like Justin Martin, Eats Everything, Breach, T.Williams, Tom Demac and the late Martin Dawson, as well from up and coming young producers such as Kixnare, Viadrina and Uffe. SLG's contribution, October, an electroboogie/house melange evoking a mix between Beat Street nostalgia, Yamaha DX-series fetishism and hands-in-the-air ecstatic raving, features on the 2nd CD and you can check it out on the Pets Soundcloud page or directly below.
